ILLUSTRATION
As graphic artists, we can’t possibly forget about free-hand drawing, whatever people may say it still has its charm. Even if we are in the digital area and we don’t use paint brushes to draw, but a colour palette, it is still necessary to have a “skilled little hand”. This is why we sketch, we experiment and we colour layouts until we don’t find the most suitable style, the trendiest one, the most impactful one.

ILLUSTRATION
Sometimes we go for a colour palette, other times for a pencil, but the final result is always the same. Illustrations are the quickest way to create new images, with the timeless flavour of free-hand drawing.

STORYBOARD AND ARTBOARD
Before producing an animation or going on-set to shoot an ad or a short feature it is necessary to outline the various steps. This is when good old illustrations are still handy, to compile the first storyboards.

CHARACTER DESIGN
Character design is that special kind of activity where characters and mascots are created. It is a truly hilarious step of illustration where we see the birth of animals, little dragons, tall, thin, short and fat characters. We then see them come to life with a touch of digital animation, the ingredient that makes them star in our videos, maybe explaining in entertaining manner a series of data which would otherwise end up being veeeery boring.
