VIDEO AND POST-PRODUCTION
Lightning, lights, multi-coloured shapes that come to life, the video is a great cycle that is constantly renovating and changing shape to remind us that time is continuously moving, it goes by, quickly, mutating everything. It’s a kind of magic! This great world requires various types of professionalism. You can edit footage adjusting the pace, making it faster or slower, creating and integrating non-existent elements, or you can just improve a shade of colour. In Linkaround we deal in post-productions of all difficulties, of existing footage or, if there is no footage, we can create videos mixing 3D, motion, infographics and sound effects. The important thing is to obtain an impactful effect that can best convey the communicative message, and so… let’s get moving!
POST-PRODUCTION and VISUAL FX
Post-production and visual effects are the most demanding but also the most rewarding pieces of work. Being able to integrate non-existent elements in a video or in a TV spot requires thorough knowledge of different types of software, a knack for assembling the elements in credible and eye-pleasing manner and a sprinkle of experience to successfully handle unexpected production mishaps. When needed, we show up on-set to suggest to directors the best way to carry out shooting, with the purpose of making them ideal for post-production work.
MOTION GRAPHICS and INFOGRAPHICS
A video is not always made from filmed footage only; wholly digital techniques are often employed. And this is how computer graphics (CG) or infographic videos are born, assembling 2D and often 3D elements, to capture more efficiently the attention of the user.
What may look like the easiest kind of work is in reality anything but banal. Editing is the base of everything and it is essential to give videos the right pace. And it is thanks to editing that a slow, boring video can become rich and eventful.
What would a video or an advert be without sound? It may be a great video but the sound design gives it an extra edge. All those sounds, for example a door creaking, the rustle of the wind or a background noise inserted at the right time are instrumental in highlighting an important moment. All of this, obviously mixed with the right accompanying track
With motion graphics we mean the working phase when all elements are composed and animated. And why not, some animations may be characters created and animated in 3D, or illustrated ones, interacting with all other elements of the scene. The motion is characterised by a multitude of animated 2D elements, generating a very spectacular finished product.
We can proudly affirm that we were among the first (if not the very first) to have produced a stereoscopic (3D) spot, broadcast in cinemas. The result was absolutely amazing, with the illusion of being able to touch objects by stretching out one’s hand. We will be delighted to invite you to our office to try the stereoscopic 3D effect, thanks to the use of special glasses.
